Meet Eric

A neighbor ready to serve District 13

Eric is blessed to be raising a son who attends District 13 schools with his devoted wife, a proud alumni of the school district herself. Eric wants to bring his work in public policy, collaborative approach, and commitment to the community to District 13.

Throughout his career, Eric has worked with individuals with different perspectives, complex organizations, and competing priorities. That experience has taught him the value of listening carefully and asking the right questions to find practical solutions.

  • Student-first decision making
  • Parents as partners, not afterthoughts
  • Respect for teachers and careful use of public funds

The platform

Three commitments to District 13

Guiding Principles.

01

Supporting Students

Keeping educational excellence the heart of District 13

Classrooms, curriculum, and school culture should be built around learning. Every board vote should answer one question first: does this help our students grow academically and become more prepared for the next grade?

02

Parents’ Rights

Building on our culture of transparency and accountability

Parents are the first educators of their children. Families deserve clear information about curriculum, policies, spending, and a board that listens before it decides.

03

Respecting Teachers & Taxpayers

Spend dollars effectively so resources reach students and educators

The board’s job is to support educators in the classroom and make sure every dollar has a student-facing purpose.

Prepared Leadership

A disciplined, transparent approach to serving the community

Eric will show up prepared, ask the hard questions, and focus on student outcomes and public trust. He will review information thoroughly before decisions, visit schools to understand real conditions, and press for clarity when proposals affect classrooms or budgets.

He will pay attention to how policies impact teachers, families, and staff. His standard for progress is simple: effective learning, supported educators, and transparent stewardship of community resources.
